The Delta R O-ETD is the next generation Explosive Trace Detection solution. It operates based on known ETD procedures. By using our patented Delta R technology, the OTD allows for highly reliable screening with a high dynamic range. It has been designed to allow high throughput, requiring mere seconds to scan the proprietary trap. OTD comes with a standoff screening option to scan small items that passengers carry with them such as wallet, passport, and keys. Such items can be screened without using a swab. The optical detection does not touch the optical trap which is inserted. Thus, if the sampling is a bit more than trace quantity, the equipement will function the same, bulk or trace.
As the equipment can handle trace and bulk in similar fashion, the uptime of the equipment is warranted. The number of active components is minimal, eliminating potential single points of failure.
No swabs for small items
Equipped with a unit for small items, scans can be made without using a swab. This speeds, and levels up the process combined with lower operational costs.
